Stroudsburg, PA – Racing season will be delayed by one week, as the staff has postponed Track Cleanup and rescheduled it to Saturday, March 28, 2026, due to the soft/muddy track conditions. This will also postpone Practice Day to Saturday, April 4, and the first race to Friday, April 10. Times will remain the same as posted on the schedule for Cleanup and Practice Days.
2026 Parking Spot Update:
While we have done online renewal for the last few years, due to a security patch affecting the payment processing system, we are foregoing online pit spot renewals. This will push the Renewal Deadline to Saturday, March 28, for renewing spots. Payment must be made by the 28th either at the track, by sending a check, or by dropping it off at the kart shop. To send a check, email Alex at [email protected], and he will provide the information.
For new spots, please email Alex at [email protected] with your Name, Phone Number, and Truck/Trailer Length. We will start assigning spots at the latest on March 29. Spots are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis, AND by rig size. You can check out the Pit Parking List/Pit Spot Waitlist at https://snydersvilleraceway.com/pit-parking-map/
2026 Rule Updates:
All Rules have been updated for 2026, which can be found at https://snydersvilleraceway.com/rules-forms/. Here are the main changes for 2026:
- Safety
- Helmets must now be Snell M/K/SA2020, Snell M/K/SA2025, CMR2016, or SFI 24.1/30.1/40.1 certified based on the class you run. Snell CMR2016/SFI-certified helmets have a 10-year lifespan from the manufacturer’s date. If your helmet is a Snell M/K/SA2015, it is no longer permissible for use.
- ALL BALLAST/LEAD WEIGHTS must be painted white and have your kart number on them to properly return the weight.
- Class Rules (Disclaimer: Always read the class rules in the rule book for the specifications. This is just a summary of the rules, and some information may be omitted.)
- Ducar 212 motors will utilize the 2026 WKA Rules with the Factory Box Stock Exhaust from Dynocam, the only permitted exhaust. The use of the RLV exhaust system is prohibited.
- Jr. Sportsman/Sportsman Champ
- The Clone engine will utilize the Big Pipe Exhaust system.
- The Briggs 206 will be allowed to use a Blue Slide at the same weight as the Clone.
- Class weights have been updated for both flat-kart and champ-kart engines. See the rule book for information.
- Mini Mods
- Right Side Air Pressure Rule of 15 LBS minimum at ambient air temperature. Bleeder/Schrader Valve Stems are PROHIBITED.
- New Classes
- The following classes have been added to the 2026 list: Sr. Box Stock Super Heavy and Sr. Box Stock Champ Light. Weights for each class are available in the rule book. These classes will run alongside the normal Sr. Box Stock (Heavy) and Sr. Box Stock Champ Heavy classes, but will be scored separately for points and payout (similar to Flathead 375/400).
- Class Ages
- Once the driver moves up from Jr. to Sr. or Kid Kart/Kiddie Champ to Jr., they may not return to the younger class. Points will not be moved upon class change. Drivers at the Age of 12 can run both the 8-12 and 12-15 age classes on the same night. Similarily with a kid running JuiceBox and Kid Kart/Kiddie Champ is permissible as long as they are 5 years old.
- Competition Rule Change
- In extenuating circumstances, the Race Director may restore a person’s position if they were found to be intentionally spun or wrecked by another driver, or found not at fault for an incident.
- If any issue occurs that requires fixing BEFORE the 1st lap is complete, you will be given ONE attempt to fix it if it can be resolved within 3 minutes and doesn’t require pit crew involvement.
To review all changes, please read the updated 2026 Rule Books posted at the link above.
