After a barn burner of racing last Friday we now focus to this Friday, June 7 for another exciting edition of racing at The Ville! This week the Sr. Animal Champs and the Sr. 206 Champs will be battling it out 20-Lap Money Races with the winners get $150 TO WIN. On top of that we have a Regular Show of All Classes of Karts, Champs, Microstocks, Slingshots, and Quarter Midgets on the docket for the 1/8 mile oval. Get those race cars together and join us for some Exciting Racing under the Friday Night Lights in the Pocono’s! Gates open at 4:30pm, Practice at 6:15pm, and Racing at 7pm. See you all on Friday!

Stroudsburg, PA (6-1-2019) The 9th Annual Eddie Marzigliano Memorial set the bar higher for 2019 with the first long distance race for the Flathead Champ division. The drivers came out in force creating a full field of 20 Champs for the Memorial Race. Nazareth, Pennsylvania’s own Alex Arndt took the pole and held off the strong field, leading all 50 Laps, to take his second Eddie Marzigliano Memorial Win! Central PA’s Dustin Prettyleaf reeled in Arndt but ran out of laps to push Arndt across the line in 2nd. Ron Ehrhardt navigated his way from a top 10 starting spot to the top 3 spot on the podium. On top of the memorial, the Animal Super Heavies ran for $200 to win and NY’s own Scott Thomas showed some horsepower to take the win under the Friday Night Lights! The rest of the classes also showed in force creating an 81 entry night for the first ever Invert Night which sure changed up some of the racing at The Ville! The highly popular Sr. Flathead Champs will be locked and loaded for the 2019 Eddie Marzigliano Memorial as the drivers will be battling it out for $300 to win (GUARANTEED) in a 50-Lap Dash (broken into 2 Stages- Race Format explained below). Plus we have the Animal Super Heavies going to be racing in a 20-Lap Dash for $200 to win (5 kart minimum). Finally, all classes of Karts, Champs, Microstocks, Slingshots, and Quarter Midgets will have an added twist with the first ever Invert Night for the feature lineups. Come on out this Friday and join us for some Exciting Racing on the 1/8 mile Bullring in the Pocono’s! • Class Rules: WKA Flathead Only @ 410 LBS, Ages 15 & Up
• $35 to Enter, $300 to win (GUARANTEED)
• Race Format: Qualifying- Green, White, Checkered; Feature- 50 Laps total distance broken into Two 25-Lap Stages. After first 25 Laps there will be a 5-minute pit stop on Track for Refueling and the following approved adjustments (Air Pressure or Tape on Motor). Field will be lined up double file and then start final 25 Laps. Lucky Dog will be active for feature.
• No separate class for Memorial- Points and Memorial Race will be ONE CLASS

Animal Super Heavy Specs & Race Format:
• Class Rules: WKA Animal Only @ 400 LBS (No Driver Minimum Weight), Ages 15 & Up
• $35 to Enter, $200 to win (5 Kart Minimum)

Invert Night Details: This is the first of 4 Invert Nights planned in 2019. How this will work is everyone will draw normally for Heat starting spots and lineup from lowest to highest pill draw. After the heat(s) are completed for a class, the winner of the heat (or heat 1) will draw an invert pill which will invert the top “x” cars in the feature lineup. The invert pills will 0 (or no invert), 3, 6, or 9 (pending class entry count).
