WKA, Briggs, and AKRA have mandated a NEW safety requirement that will affect the Animal, the Lo206, the World Formula, and the Clone motor. The new requirement is any Fuel Filter located between the Fuel Pump and Carburetor MUST BE REMOVED. You may ONLY place the filter in between the Fuel Tank and Fuel Pump. The rule change is due to a potential fire hazard that can occur due to the softening/melting of the plastic filter. This will go into effect starting next Friday, April 16. Those who get teched this weekend that haven’t moved the filter will require a follow-up safety check to make sure the filter is moved. This will be added to our 2021 Rule Book that will be going up tomorrow.
Thanks,

This Saturday, we began our final preparations to get the 2021 Racing Season underway with our Track Cleanup Day. We have a lot which includes scraping the wall of loose paint, painting the walls (both inside and out), painting the tires, and cleaning up the grounds. We ask that you please let Alex know your coming by emailing him at racingpromotions1@gmail.com or message the Snydersville Raceway Facebook Page, so we can get an idea of how much lunch to get. We will start around 10am, but we may bump it back an hour if it’s still around freezing at the start time. We will have a limited supply of paint rollers, paint brushes, rakes, shovels, and scrapers/wire brushes, but we ask that you please bring the following in case we have a lot of people:
- Paint Roller or Brush
- Scraper (aka Putty Knife) or Wire Brush
- Shovel
- Rake
As for the 2020 Awards, due to shipping delays (as everyone knows and loves right now), we will have to move the awards back to Saturday, April 10 on Practice Day. We do apologize in advance for this. If you can’t make it, you can still pick up your awards the next Friday. We look forward to seeing everyone on Saturday for a little cleaning up!

We will be waiting another week to get the 2021 season underway as one of the track light poles came crashing down onto the track destroying light fixtures and causing some damage. We are in the process of replacing the pole but repairing other items will ultimately push the cleanup and awards to Sat. April 3. This will also push Practice Day to Saturday, April 10. We hope to hit the race track soon and see you all at The Ville.
