This Friday, the Tobias Slingshots will be taking to the 1/8 mile bullring as the Keystone Cup Super National Weekend starts the 3-day Race Weekend at Snydersville. The AllStar Slingshot will be competing in the Inaugural $1000 TO WIN JIMMY BASSETT CUP 50 presented by Amsoil & Frindt Fabrications, and the Jr. Slingshots will be going for $350 to win the Short Track 25! Both divisions will pay to take the green in the feature, with the AllStars getting $50 and the Juniors get $25. The AllStars will be going 50-Laps the distance, and the Juniors will go 25 Laps with 20 Cars starting. On top of that, we have a complete Regular Show of Karts, Champs, Microstocks, and Xcel Sportsmans on the docket to make for Action Filled 4th of July Weekend in the Poconos! One of the richest nights of the 2021 season is on the docket with a potential of $1500 to win on the line, plus some NASCAR Stars will be gracing the grounds of Snydersville this Friday, June 25! The 2nd Annual John LaRue Memorial is back and set to draw a HUGE AMOUNT OF KARTS as Innaugural Race brought 37 drivers out to compete in the $1000 to win and put together a $4000 purse!!! The memorial will again highlight the Sr. Flathead Champs in a 33-Lap Race consisting of 20 Karts and will pay $1000 to win and $20 to take the green! Also, we will have a Non-Qualifiers Flathead Champ Feature for those that don’t qualify into the big dance paying $50 to win, $30 to 2nd, and $20 to 3rd presented by Alex Greenzweig! Lap Money and contingencies will also be collected over the week and on Friday for the Big Memorial Race!
Also on the cards for Friday is the Walt Smith Memorial which highlights the Flathead 370 (aka Briggs Stock Heavy) division in a 30-Lap, $500 to win event! Also on the schedule, we have the makeup $500 to win Eddie Marzigliano Memorial for Flathead Champ with 19 drivers already qualified into the race!
Snydersville will also play host this Friday to NASCAR CUP SERIES DRIVER JOEY GASE.
