Racing returns after a one-week hiatus with the Exciting PA Wing Outlaw Karts taking to the 1/8th mile bullring with high-speed racing! On top of that, we have $200 to win the Largest Class with a Regular Show of All Classes, the JuiceBox’s, and the Father’s Day Mechanics Race to make up for a FUN Friday Night of Racing. As much as we were looking forward to hosting this event, the Promoting team of Snydersville and Oreville has decided to cancel the Pocono Short Track Asphalt Championship, with no future race dates to be planned at this time. Many factors outside of the team’s control have led to this difficult decision. We understand the money you, the racers, have put in for this race but we’ve exhausted all of our options and resources to try and make the event happen. We want to thank Pocono Raceway and everyone involved for the opportunity to try and make a historic short-track event. Thank you to all the racers and fans that were going to support the event.
All pre-registration money will be refunded via the payment method you registered with. All card transactions will be refunded in 3-5 business days (the fastest rate the card companies process refunds), and any received checks will be returned via mail.
Lastly, due to the short cancellation notice, we will not be rescheduling the races for this weekend. We want to thank you all again and enjoy the off weekend.
This Friday, June 2, we kick off the month of June with the 13th Running of the Eddie Marzigliano Memorial featuring the Briggs Stock Light division duking it out for $500 to win! This race will feature 20 drivers in a 30-Lap Dash! On top of that, we have a Complete Regular Show of All Classes featuring Karts, Champs, Microstocks, Slingshots, and the JuiceBox’s. Load those race cars up and bring the family out this Friday to Snydersville Raceway for some Exciting Short Track Action in the Pocono’s!
