We kick off this Fathers Day Weekend with some Short Track Dirt Racing in the Poconos on Friday, June 17. The AllStar Slingshots will highlight the evening in the 2nd Running of the Jimmy Bassett Memorial, where drivers have their chance at $500 to win a payday! The Slingshots will compete in a unique format consisting of timed warm-ups to set the 10-lap heats and a 35-Lap Cone Race for the Feature.
On top of that, we will have a Mechanics Race for Fathers Day Weekend where the Men who don’t have experience in a Kart, Champ/Microstock, Slingshot, or Mini Mod, get a chance to try their hand behind the wheel. All that is needed is a ride, the proper safety equipment, and a pit pass.
Lastly, we have a Complete Regular Show of All Classes as we close out the Spring portion with Points event #8 of 2022. Note this is also the last opportunity to shake those cars down for the July 1, $3000 to win John LaRue Memorial Race and $500 to win Walt Smith Memorial Race since the track will be closed on Friday, June 24. Gates will open at 4:30 pm this Friday, Drivers Meeting at 6 pm, Practice at 6:15 pm, and Racing at 7 pm!
